- After graduation, worked for Cameron Iron Works in subsea blow out preventer stacks.
- Next stop. SEFCO Steel fab shop and conveyor company. Conveyor system layout drawings for large warehouse part picking and shipping.
- Next stop. BGRS, Inc. Mechanical drafting: Sand blast rooms, trailer mounted sand blast equipment, lime / sludge systems for municipal waste treatment. In house contractor for 2 steel building expansions including foundation, steel structure, overhead cranes, and offices.
- All of my previous experiences helped with my overall knowledge and prepared me for my architectural drafting career.
- Next stop. CAD classes at AB Tech in Asheville, NC.
- After the CAD training, I was finally in the architecture field with Deltec Homes.
- Next stop. M-M Design. 16 years as lead including training and managing the large number of student workers that we hired to give them some real world experience in their field.
